Vintage Style Me

Here are some bits I'm loving this week from Vintage Style Me. They sell a lot of Vintage goodies alongside a load of hand-made pieces which are the bits that have caught my eye the most.

The skirt on the left is currently only £15 in the sale section. The dress in the middle is divine floral print in a velveteen fabric. It's up for £37.49 which is a bit too expensive for my tight budget, but lovely nevertheless! The last skirt is one that has been on my radar for quite some time now. For anyone who knows me may be aware that I have a bit of an obsession with cats and pigeons, so a combination of the two is a hilarious collaboration <3 I have noticed that it is now £22 but only used to be £20 which peeves me slightly. But I will be forever wishful that it may find its way into my wardrobe one day :)

In Love With Fashion

Here are some of my top picks that I am currently coveting from In Love With Fashion!






For some reason I was most drawn to the navy dresses 1 & 2, but blue brings out my eyes and suits my complexion no matter how my skin is behaving, and with their nipped in skater styles they were always gonna be on my radar weren't they? ;) I also love these skirts. The bow style one is supposed to be red but looks much more on the pink side to me, it's still gorgeous though! I love all sorts of delicate frills and fancies! The mint green lace skirt comes in various different colours but for some reason unknown to me I was most drawn to this one. I'm not usually one for pastelly colours but I can see it working well. I'm probably out of my usual depth, picking colours that I wouldn't usually wear but I do love them so I can forgive myself :D

The other items are by the lovely and whimsical Crown & Glory 1, 2, 3 who are featured as brands on the website, alongside Inkwear who create these very pretty fake tattoos 1 & 2. Brilliant for someone like me who has a condition that wouldn't allow for real ink.

Anorak

Contrary to the title of the blog, I am not about to talk about a geeky yet practical type of outerwear...!

But some how I stumbled upon this brand, Anorak, who have the cutest stuff!!! For anyone who knows me, I am obsessed with deer prints and bird prints and being in black and white is even more lustworthy! So this brand are perfection.

I want all of this lovely stuff!! Some of it is very costly though. Maybe someone will treat me to a mug?? But the sleeping bag is fantastic!! Plus being cotton means even I can sleep inside it :D normal sleeping bag material plays havoc with my eczema so this would be a brilliant alternative.







This next lot is a bit bright for my liking but I still think they're all good pieces! I would definitely go for the bird coasters <3 beautiful!

Falling to pieces

Heyy :) So I haven't been very well yet again since writing my last post. I've been off work quite a lot and had many trips back and forth to the hospital which is always fun and games. I'm a bit miffed with having been so very ill now because I had so many plans for September. Today I was supposed to be going to a friend's in Sheffield to look at historic houses, but alas I had to cancel. Tomorrow I'm off to the Firewind/ Leaves Eyes gig in Sheffield and Fri-Sun I'll be in York for Warhorns Fest and also to see my Mum :) And to make this post a bit more interesting, here are a couple of things I'm currently coveting after <3
